Therapy is based on the Western medical model of mental health to include diagnosis, treatment plans, treatment, and is protected by HIPPAA in most circumstances*. Therapy sessions and the information provided by the client is privileged information by legal standards. The therapist is required to report the following:
* Suspected past or present abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable adult to Child Protective Services and/or and law enforcement based on information provided by the client or collateral sources.
* If the therapist believes the client has indicated clear intent to attempt suicide or has indicated a threat to harm another person.
Consultation does not require a diagnosis, just a desire for personal development and growth. Consultation may include...
Education, mentoring, and methods of self-evaluation that help you see ways in which thinking and underlying beliefs are holding you back from being in alignment with your True Self.
Consultation for Internal Family Systems Therapy is available for case-consultation and for those looking to learn and grow from the model from the inside out. Consultation for IFS Practitioners and Therapists does not count toward IFS certification at this time.
I can bill insurance for therapy and am in-network with several insurance companies. Credit/debit card payment can be made through the electronic medical record for co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-network coinsurance.
Payment for consultation is accepted via PayPal and Zelle.
